Wonderful faux pearl bracelet from the 50's.
Triple-strand memory wire base so wraps nicely around your wrist, whatever the size. Graduated white-luster beads, ranging from 14MM down to 6MM.
At the widest point the bracelet measures 42mm across, and at the narrowest - at each end - it measures 24mm, before widening out to 30mm.
The pearls have a beautiful lustre, and this is a very glamorous piece.
I'm thinking how appropriate this would be for a mid-winter ball. Also would be wonderful for a wedding - either bride, mother-of-the-bride, or just as a stunning guest!
Manufactured in post-WWII occupied Japan, so these are new, but are an old-stock item. They are bracelets that were never sold, and have been in storage for many years, and are in awesome unworn condition - very difficult to tell their age just by looking at them. (Like any distinguished lady, they are aging with grace and style!) There is the odd minor imperfection or scratch, but nothing significant to detract from their beauty.
