This image is taken from Alphonse Mucha's Zodiac calendar, an illustration produced for "La Plume" around 1896.
I have placed her in a brass, lace-edged setting measuring 30x40mm, and hung the pendant from a gold-plated rollo chain, with the addition of a vintage topaz heart-shaped rhinestone dangle.
Chain measures 50mm, and fastens with a lobster clasp.
* Alphonse Mucha was born in the Czech Republic in 1869, and is famous as the father of Art Nouveau. His distinctive style as a painter and decorative artist show strong Neo-classical influences. Flowing, graceful and feminine - simply beautiful and timeless.
